2008 First place winner
Just when you thought you have seen it all in
Christmas light decorating Ridge Harbor Christmas has raised the bar
for decorating enthusiasts across the country. The 2009 display
will run from December 2nd through New Year's day and feature approximately 350,000 lights.
The feature element of the 2009 display is the new MONSTER MEGA
TREE! The MMT is the first and largest tree of its kind in the
country. With 19,600 lights and controlled by 104 computer channels,
this tree executes a pattern unequaled by other so called “Mega
Trees”. The MMT was designed, engineered and programmed by property
owner Robin Stublen.
Santa will make his annual visits on December 12th (rain day 13th)
and 19th (rain day 20th) from 7pm to 9pm. Boys and girls should be accompanied by an
adult so parents bring your cameras to take their free pictures.
Be
sure to tune your radio to 106.1 FM and listen to the music while
watching thousands of lights dance to the beat of the music.
Ridge Harbor Christmas broadcast nightly on a low-power FM
transmitter when the lights are on.
Note: in the event of rain, the display will be
turned off for safety reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience.
